We are looking to hire a Space Planner to join our Switzerland Team in Basel who will manage and participate in the coordination and management of the long- and short-term space planning and office furniture needs for our clients Premises Management, Operations team, and the Site Development.
Responsibilities- Assist the Premises Management and Operations team for the space and furniture assessments and proposes efficiencies and improvements as needed.
- Reviews the construction plans and specifications related to space planning and ensures plan data is accurate.
- Coordinates and conducts on-site inspections
- Provides a clear picture of the space planning in coordination with the CAD team
- Continual oversight for, and analysis of the campus occupancy patterns
- Coordinate and track all occupancy changes (desk swap, office layout changes) and permanently maintain precise record.
- Manage the workplace and headcounts forecasts, with extreme accuracy.
- Manage all the information related to the transition phases of the project including headcounts, departmental requirements and internal layouts during the intermediate moves
- Assist the Premises Management and Operations team in the implementation of a future CAD/BIM/CAFM software environment for Workplace Management
- Coordinating the interface between the space planning software and the BIM Model during the different project phases.
- Assist the change manager with internal and external stakeholders meetings
- Assist and or review space questions, test fits, blocking and stacking plans, sequencing plans for major relocations, allocation plans.
- Participate to the exchanges with FF&E vendors and building management
- Coordinate with the move manager planning and execution of internal moves, furniture installations, and office relocations.
- Prioritizing scheduling and monitoring requests
- Maintain databases, project files, spreadsheets and related documentation on space and furniture usage
- Master Degree in Architecture or Engineering
- Minimum one similar experience on a Real Estate project with more than 1000 workplaces and more than 500 moves
