Fractional Chief Commercial Officer (CCO)
Contract: Fractional (40-80%) | Potential to Transition to Full-Time
A Swiss-based Tech Bio company leveraging advanced data science and computational biology to support the development of next-generation healthcare solutions. The company is building proprietary biological datasets and analytical capabilities to better understand disease mechanisms and improve decision-making across research and clinical development.
The Opportunity:Work directly with the CEO, CFO and Board to develop and execute the company's commercial strategy. This is not a traditional sales role. The successful individual will build commercial momentum, establish strategic partnerships and help position the business for scale following an anticipated financing round, with a large emphasis on business development.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and execute commercial and partnering strategy
- Build relationships across biotech, pharma and healthcare
- Open strategic partnership discussions
- Lead opportunities through to term sheet stage
- Develop a robust commercial pipeline
- Support investor and fundraising discussions
- Help create a scalable commercial organisation
- Commercial strategy established
- Existing opportunities advanced
- New strategic conversations opened
- Opportunities progressed toward signed term sheets
- Foundation built for scalable growth
- Former CBO, VP Business Development, Head of Strategic Partnerships or similar.
- Experience in biotech, precision medicine, immunology, diagnostics, genomics, AI-enabled drug discovery or Tech Bio businesses.
- Strong partnering experience and existing industry network required.
- Entrepreneurial, hands-on, highly networked, strategic yet practical
- Comfortable operating in growth-stage environments and able to move seamlessly between strategy and execution.
