Christ & Gantenbein is an architecture firm with locations in Basel and Barcelona. With around 100 employees, the firm works on demanding projects both domestically and internationally. At our Basel location, we are looking for a:

Qualifications include:

• Degree in Architecture with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience
• High design competence
• Proven experience in French-speaking Switzerland or France is an advantage
• Knowledge of Revit and in BIM-Method is an advantage
• Excellent command of written and spoken French

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and plan various planning dossiers, working closely with the project management and project team
• Oversee developing architectural and structural solutions with team members, construction companies, external consultants, and specialists
• Take on tasks, structure them independently, and work on them
• Proactively prioritize work steps, initiate them according to project phases, and track progress
• Combine high architectural sensitivity and technical-constructive understanding with confident application of common representation methods in design and execution planning phases
• Use hands‑on work style and high intercultural competence to inspire project team and convince external partners
• Shape the entire architectural creation process, drive it forward in assigned areas, and bring clarity of architectural idea through planning phases to built realization
• Communicate with all project participants in a professional manner and convey developed architectural concepts and structural solutions clearly and persuasively to execution on-site
• Appreciate vibrancy of creative environment and show high flexibility in project work
