Interim Medical Safety Physician - 6 month contract - 80-100% FTE - Hybrid - Basel
Bio Talent is collaborating with an established European biotech company.
Requirement:
Experienced Medical Safety Physician preferably with Immunology clinical programs Phase I-II.
Profile
- Medical degree (MD) with 5+ years industry experience in directly in medical safety
- Experience in Phase I–II clinical development (Phase III exposure a plus)
- Immunology (immuno-oncology would be a bonus)
- Comfortable with hands-on operational work rather than strategic leadership
- Able to start in March 2026 and commit for approximately 6 months at 80–100% capacity
Key Responsibilities/required experience in:
- Medical safety reviews of individual patient data and clinical narratives
- Writing and review of clinical trial protocols, study reports, and related documentation
- Medical input into ongoing early-phase studies in immunology
- Collaborate closely with internal clinical and safety teams to ensure continuity
- Support ad hoc clinical or pharmacovigilance queries as required
