As part of our continued growth, we are looking for an Instrumentation & Calibration Technician to support the early engineering phase of an industrial project for one of our clients located near Basel.
Your main responsibilities- Contribute to the definition of technical specifications for instrumentation equipment (pressure, temperature, flow, etc.)
- Perform pre-studies and functional analyses related to process requirements
- Create, update, and manage instrumentation and calibration data in COMOS, in compliance with existing standards
- Work closely with Instrumentation and Automation Engineers to ensure data consistency across engineering disciplines
- Participate in technical meetings and ensure project decision traceability
- Support project teams in updating engineering deliverables (instrument datasheets, calibration sheets, technical documentation, etc.)
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders (Quality, Maintenance, Engineering teams)
- Technical education (CFC, DUT, BTS, or equivalent) in Instrumentation, Automation, or Industrial Engineering
- Initial experience in instrumentation and/or calibration is an asset (including internships or apprenticeships)
- Mandatory proficiency in COMOS (instrument datasheets creation and modification, dat a management)
- Ability to read P&IDs and interpret technical documentation
- Detail-oriented, structured, and technically curious
- Strong team spirit with the ability to work autonomously
- Fluent in English and/or German are mandatory
