As part of our growth, we are looking for an MSAT Process Engineer – Aseptic Filling to support one of our industrial partners in the Basel area
.
You will play a key role in supporting commercial manufacturing operations
, process robustness, and lifecycle management for aseptic filling processes in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Provide MSAT support to aseptic filling operations (vials, syringes, or similar sterile products).
- Act as the process expert for R&D and commercial products
, ensuring process performance, robustness, and compliance. - Support technology transfers, re-tech transfers, and process changes across manufacturing sites when required.
- Perform process investigations, root cause analyses, and define corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Author and review MSAT-related documentation (process descriptions, risk assessments, protocols, reports).
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to yield, reliability, and aseptic performance.
- Act as a technical interface between Manufacturing, QA, Engineering, and external partners.
- Support audits, inspections, and regulatory interactions related to aseptic manufacturing processes.
- Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences
, or a related discipline. - Proven experience in MSAT / Process Engineering within aseptic filling operations
. - Strong knowledge of GMP requirements and sterile manufacturing environments.
- Hands-on experience supporting commercial manufacturing is mandatory.
- Experience in tech transfer and lifecycle management is a strong asset.
- Structured, analytical, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in English and proficient in French
