Integrated within the Engineering department, the Senior Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the design, validation and industrialization of complex mechanical systems for high-end private and business aircraft
.
The role requires strong technical leadership, hands‑on expertise, and the ability to work within strict aeronautical, safety and certification constraints
.
- Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies from concept to industrialization
- Define and validate mechanical architectures considering performance, weight, space, durability and certification constraints
- Produce and review 3D models, drawings, tolerances and technical documentation
- Perform or supervise mechanical analyses (static, fatigue, vibration, thermal where applicable)
- Support manufacturing, assembly, integration and qualification phases
- Work closely with electrical, avionics, systems and industrial teams to ensure full system compatibility
- Participate in ground and flight test support
, troubleshooting and root cause analysis - Contribute to design reviews, technical trade‑offs and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with aerospace standards, processes and best practices
- 10+ years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in complex or regulated environments
- Strong background in mechanical design, structures and assemblies
- Proven experience with CAD tools (e.g. CATIA, Creo, Solid Works or equivalent)
- Solid knowledge of materials, tolerancing, manufacturing processes and industrial constraints
- Experience working in aerospace, defense, automotive, railway or similar industries
- Ability to manage technical complexity and drive design decisions
- Professional English proficiency (technical exchanges and documentation)
