Electrical Engineer – Electronics & Embedded Systems
Basel, Switzerland | Hybrid Working (3 Days onsite per week)

We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join an innovative engineering team working on advanced electronics and embedded systems projects in Basel, Switzerland.
This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer with strong PCB design, embedded programming, and electronics development experience who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary and technically challenging environment.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop electronic circuits and PCB layouts using CAD/EDA tools
- Create schematics, perform board layout, and support hardware integration activities
- Develop, adapt, and debug embedded software and firmware
- Ensure compliance with electrical safety and engineering standards
- Perform prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic systems
- Support system integration activities including sensors, control systems, and communication interfaces
- Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams
- Support project planning, scheduling, and technical coordination
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
- 5–10 years of professional engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics
- Experience with PCB design and schematic capture tools (Altium, KiCad, Cadence, OrCAD, or similar)
- Embedded systems and firmware development experience
- Programming knowledge in C, C++, Python, or similar
- Good understanding of electrical safety principles and EMC practices
- Experience with testing, debugging, and hardware validation
Strong communication and technical reporting skills - Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with FPGA, IoT, or industrial communication protocols
- Knowledge of audio/video integration systems
- Basic IT networking knowledge (LAN, switches, routing)
- Aviation or aerospace industry experience
- Hands-on and practical engineering mindset
- Curious about new technologies and innovation
- Organized, reliable, and solution-oriented
- Comfortable working in collaborative engineering environments
- Hybrid working model available
- International engineering environment
- Immediate/June start preferred
