We are currently looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join an innovative engineering team working on advanced electronics and embedded systems projects in Basel, Switzerland.

This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer with strong PCB design, embedded programming, and electronics development experience who enjoys working in a multidisciplinary and technically challenging environment.

• Design and develop electronic circuits and PCB layouts using CAD/EDA tools
• Create schematics, perform board layout, and support hardware integration activities
• Develop, adapt, and debug embedded software and firmware
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety and engineering standards
• Perform prototyping, testing, troubleshooting, and validation of electronic systems
• Support system integration activities including sensors, control systems, and communication interfaces
• Prepare technical documentation, reports, and project updates
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and project management teams
• Support project planning, scheduling, and technical coordination

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or equivalent
• 5–10 years of professional engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of analog and digital electronics
• Experience with PCB design and schematic capture tools (Altium, KiCad, Cadence, OrCAD, or similar)
• Embedded systems and firmware development experience
• Programming knowledge in C, C++, Python, or similar
• Good understanding of electrical safety principles and EMC practices
• Experience with testing, debugging, and hardware validation
  
  Strong communication and technical reporting skills
• Ability to work independently and within multidisciplinary teams

• Experience with FPGA, IoT, or industrial communication protocols
• Knowledge of audio/video integration systems
• Basic IT networking knowledge (LAN, switches, routing)
• Aviation or aerospace industry experience
