Automation Engineer

Automation Engineer – Operations Engineering (m/f/d) – Process Control Technology (PLT) / Automation Technology in the GMP Environment / CAPEX Project Management / Siemens PCS7 / Hardware Planning (COMOS, AutoCAD)

• Operational engineering of the process control technology to ensure production maintenance at all times
• Planning and implementation of plant changes according to customer requirements, including the creation and adaptation of hardware and software specifications, test plans and application software, including support for installations and commissioning
• Collaboration with a sub-project manager/project engineer for automation in all project phases (initiation, design and implementation) – both independently and with the support of internal and external specialists
• Collaborate with interfaces on projects and changes
• Supporting internal customers with technical questions and official inspections
• Continuous optimization of process plants as well as evaluation, testing and recommendation of new technologies

• At least 5 years of professional experience in the automation of process plants in the GMP environment
• Good knowledge of hardware planning with CAE systems (COMOS, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Experience as a project manager/sub-project manager in CAPEX projects
• Ability to work in a team and good communication and coordination skills within the organization as well as appropriate interaction with stakeholders at all levels
• Willingness to work in an agile, self-organized work environment
• Fluent in German and good English (at least B2), both written and spoken

• Good knowledge of programming automation and control systems from Siemens (PCS7, S7, TIA WinCC)

• Fluent in German and good English (at least B2), both written and spoken
