Senior Process Design Engineer – Pharma & Life Sciences

We are looking for a skilled Senior Process Engineer to support the design, planning, and delivery of advanced pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities, including Biotech, OSD, Secondary Manufacturing, and Cell & Gene Therapy plants. You will be involved in projects from early concept development through to commissioning and qualification.

• Lead and support the design, planning, and coordination of pharmaceutical process facilities
• Develop key process documentation, including User Requirement Specifications (URS), Process Flow Diagrams (PFDs), P&IDs, and mass and energy balances
• Lead teams of process engineers
• Prepare tender documentation and support bid evaluations
• Coordinate with vendors post‑award to ensure successful project execution
• Provide support during construction, commissioning, and qualification phases
• Contribute to investments' cost estimates and project budgeting

• Degree in Pharmaceutical Engineering, Biotechnology, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical plant design and engineering
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical and/or biopharmaceutical production technologies
• Structured and solution‑oriented working style
• Willingness to travel for business as required
• Business fluent in German and/or French (B2), ability to work in English
