Mechanical Engineer

We are currently looking for experienced Mechanical Engineers to join one of our clients in the aviation industry based in Basel, Switzerland.

In this role, you will contribute to aircraft design, integration and modification activities within a highly international environment, supporting VIP, commercial and defense aviation projects.

We are particularly interested in professionals with expertise in one of the following ATA chapters:

• ATA 21 – Air Conditioning
• ATA 25 - Design, integration and certification of aircraft cabin interior components
• ATA 53 – Fuselage Primary & Secondary Structures (metallic and/or composite)

• Develop and support mechanical design solutions for aircraft systems and structures.
• Perform integration activities for aircraft modifications and completion projects.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams to ensure compliance with technical and certification requirements.
• Support the design, analysis and documentation of aircraft components and systems.
• Participate in the development and implementation of engineering solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure adherence to aviation regulations, quality standards and customer specifications.

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or a related Engineering field.
• 10+ years of professional experience within the aerospace industry.
• Strong experience in commercial aviation, VIP aviation and/or defense projects.
• Expertise in at least one of the following ATA domains: ATA 21, ATA 38 or ATA 53.
• Experience working on one or more of the following aircraft platforms:
  Airbus A320, Airbus A330, Airbus A350, Boeing 737, Boeing 787, Gulfstream G650, Gulfstream G700
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional international teams.
