Techfirm Engineering is looking for a Pharmaceutical Project Engineer (m/f/d) to join our Industrial Services team in the German-speaking part of Switzerland.

What You Will Do:
- Lead and coordinate pharmaceutical and biotech CAPEX projects from concept/design phases through commissioning, qualification and operational handover.
- Manage project scope, schedule, budget, risks and deliverables while ensuring alignment with quality and GMP requirements.
- Act as the key interface between Engineering, Process, Production, QA, Validation, suppliers and external partners
. - Drive technical discussions and support engineering teams with your process engineering expertise
. - Review and approve technical documentation including URS, specifications, design deliverables and engineering packages
. - Coordinate and follow up on FAT / SAT activities, equipment implementation and commissioning activities
. - Support Commissioning & Qualification (C&Q) activities and ensure a successful transition to operations.
- Identify risks, manage changes and ensure effective communication across all project stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with GMP, regulatory requirements and company standards throughout the project lifecycle.
What We Are Looking For:
- 5–10 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biotech project management
. - Strong background in Process Engineering within GMP-regulated environments.
- Proven experience managing CAPEX projects in pharma, biotech or life sciences.
- Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and coordinating external suppliers.
- Good understanding of process equipment, utilities, manufacturing processes and facility interfaces
. - Experience with FAT / SAT, commissioning, qualification and project handover
. - Ability to understand and challenge technical solutions while maintaining project objectives.
- Strong organizational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent German (
mandatory
). - Ability to start in September 2026
