CQV Engineer German Speaking

Optimus Life Sciences are supporting a Swiss engineering organisation with an increased volume of pharmaceutical projects and are looking for experienced Commissioning & Qualification Engineers to strengthen their team.

This is a hands-on position supporting the testing and qualification of automated pharmaceutical equipment, with work split between the Basel area and customer sites internationally.

• Execute commissioning and qualification activities on automated pharmaceutical equipment
• Perform I/O checks, signal testing and functional testing
• Execute predefined IQ/OQ and commissioning protocols
• Support testing of automation and control systems
• Review equipment against technical documentation and specifications
• Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical and automation-related issues
• Complete accurate GMP documentation throughout testing and qualification
• Support both internal testing and commissioning activities at customer sites
• Work closely with engineering, automation and qualification teams through project delivery

• Previous Commissioning / CQV experience within GMP-regulated environments
• Good understanding of automation and PLC-controlled equipment
• Siemens PLC experience highly advantageous
• Experience with I/O checks, functional testing and qualification protocols
• Strong understanding of GMP documentation requirements
• Comfortable working hands-on with pharmaceutical equipment
• Willingness to travel internationally for commissioning activities
• English – professional working proficiency
• Available for a freelance/contract assignment
