Permanent and Contract Opportunities Company: KPC InternationalKPC International is expanding its presence in Switzerland and is interested in speaking with experienced Commissioning, Qualification and Validation professionals for current and upcoming pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical projects.
We support major capital projects from strategy and design through commissioning, qualification, start-up and operational readiness. Opportunities may be available across both project leadership and hands-on execution roles.
Areas of Interest We welcome applications from professionals with experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Commissioning and Qualification leadership
- Clean and black utilities
- HVAC and clean rooms
- Drug substance and drug product manufacturing
- Fill-finish and aseptic processing
- Buffer and media preparation
- CIP and SIP systems
- Upstream and downstream process equipment
- Laboratory and analytical equipment
- Automation and Computer System Validation
- Thermal mapping
- Qualification documentation and document generation
- Quality Assurance and validation oversight
- KNEAT, Veeva or other electronic validation systems
Typical Responsibilities Depending on the assignment, responsibilities may include:
- Developing and implementing commissioning and qualification strategies
- Preparing, reviewing and executing lifecycle documentation
- Supporting DQ, FAT, SAT, commissioning, IQ, OQ and PQ activities
- Reviewing URS, specifications, risk assessments and traceability matrices
- Managing deviations, punch items and qualification close-out
- Coordinating with engineering, quality, automation, vendors and operations teams
- Providing technical leadership across assigned systems or work streams
- Supporting inspection readiness and compliance with applicable GMP requirements
Candidate Profile We are interested in candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience with in pharmaceutical, biotechnology or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Practical commissioning, qualification or validation experience
- A strong understanding of GMP requirements and the project lifecycle
- The ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary and international teams
- Strong technical documentation and communication skills
- Professional fluency in English German or French language skills, experience working in Switzerland and familiarity with Swiss pharmaceutical manufacturing sites would be advantageous but are not essential for every position.
Work Eligibility Applications are welcome from candidates already authorised to work in Switzerland, EU/EFTA nationals and other experienced professionals who may require work-permit support.
Any potential work-permit or relocation requirements will be reviewed individually and will depend on the position, project location, candidate experience and applicable Swiss immigration requirements.
