For our team in Basel, we are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on a fixed term, working in group consolidation department.

• Financial Stewardship
  :
  Prepare, maintain, and reconcile key financial documents, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, capital expenditure reports
• End-to-End Closings
  :
  Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end closings under US GAAP and SOX requirements
• Insightful Analysis
  :
  Assisting in the assessment of complex transactions, and calculations, interpretation of US GAAP and drafting technical accounting memos
• Strategic Collaboration
  :
  Partner with internal and external stakeholders, providing top-tier financial support and driving business decision with financial acumen
• Audit Excellence
  :
  Ensure audit readiness, supporting both internal and external audits with accuracy and professionalism and drafting controls under Sarbanes-Oxley.

• Commercial accounting education
• Ability to consistently meet stringent deadlines
• Several years of experience in a similar role within an international company
• Results-driven attitude – you execute with precision, accountability, and a customer centric mindset
• Fluent in English (oral and written)
• Certified Public Accountant with and active license under US GAAP
• Proficient in MS office with advance knowledge of excel functions
