For our team in Basel, we are seeking a Senior Financial Accountant to join our team on a fixed term, working in the group consolidation department.

• Financial Stewardship:
  Prepare, maintain, and reconcile key financial documents, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and capital expenditure reports.
• End-to-End Closings:
  Lead monthly, quarterly, and year‑end closings under US GAAP and SOX requirements.
• Insightful Analysis:
  Assist in the assessment of complex transactions, calculations, interpretation of US GAAP, and drafting technical accounting memos.

  Partner with internal and external stakeholders, providing top‑tier financial support and driving business decisions with financial acumen.
• Audit Excellence:
  Ensure audit readiness, supporting both internal and external audits with accuracy and professionalism, and drafting controls under Sarbanes‑Oxley.

• Commercial accounting education.
• Ability to consistently meet stringent deadlines.
• Several years of experience in a similar role within an international company.
• Results‑driven attitude – you execute with precision, accountability, and a customer‑centric mindset.
• Fluent in English (oral and written).
• Certified Public Accountant with an active license under US GAAP.
• Proficient in MS Office with advanced knowledge of Excel functions.
