The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in the generation and validation of sophisticated transgenic mouse models. You will act as a strong advocate for the 3

Rs (Replacement, Reduction, Refinement), driving optimized breeding strategies that ensure animal welfare, genetic stability, and scientific excellence.

In this highly cross-functional role, you will serve as the key interface between external breeding partners, internal vivarium operations, and therapeutic area teams — turning complex genetic concepts into robust, well‑characterized experimental cohorts that support drug discovery and development.

• PhD in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology, or related field
• 3+ years hands-on experience in mouse genetics and colony management
• Familiarity with FELASA guidelines and animal welfare legislation
• Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple external vendor relationships
• Fluent English (written & spoken);
  German is an advantage
