For a pioneering international oncology company experiencing significant growth, we are looking for an experienced
** Associate Director, Total Rewards, Europe** to lead the regional implementation of compensation and benefits programs across multiple European markets.
Our client is a pioneering oncology company developing innovative targeted therapies for patients with RAS-driven cancers, which account for approximately 30% of all cancer diagnoses worldwide. With a deep pipeline of RAS(ON) inhibitors, our client is redefining what is possible in precision oncology and advancing therapies against targets that were previously considered undruggable.
The company is preparing the launch of a groundbreaking therapy with the potential to transform the treatment landscape for patients with RAS-mutated pancreatic cancer.
This scientific breakthrough has attracted significant attention from the global oncology community and represents an important milestone in cancer research and treatment.
Your responsibilities- Serve as the European Total Rewards expert and trusted advisor to HR and business leaders
- Translate global compensation and benefits frameworks into competitive, scalable and compliant European solutions
- Lead regional compensation activities, including benchmarking, salary reviews, promotions, incentives and equity programs
- Advise on compensation for new hires, internal moves, retention cases and senior-level appointments
- Assess and develop country benefit programs, working closely with global teams, brokers and external partners
- Ensure readiness for the EU Pay Transparency Directive and other European pay equity and regulatory requirements
- Provide European expertise on job architecture, internal equity, market competitiveness and new-country launches
- Develop meaningful Total Rewards analytics, guidance and communications for leaders, HR teams and employees
- 9+ years of progressive experience in Total Rewards, Compensation & Benefits or a related field
- Strong multi-country European expertise across compensation, benefits and regulatory requirements
- Experience implementing global Total Rewards frameworks at regional and local level - Sound knowledge of compensation benchmarking, annual review processes, incentives, equity and benefits
- Familiarity with European pay transparency, pay equity and employee-representation requirements
- Strong analytical, stakeholder-management and influencing skills
- Strategic and hands-on approach with a genuine builder mindset
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceuticals, life sciences or another fast-growing international environment is preferred
- A highly visible European role with meaningful influence
