Data Scientist (m/f/d) – Metropolitan Area Basel

We are supporting a renowned pharmaceutical company in Basel that is expanding its data capabilities within R&D and production environments. To strengthen their data‑driven decision‑making, we seek an experienced Data Scientist with strong analytical and technical skills.

• Build, train and deploy machine‑learning models and perform advanced statistical analyses
• Process, clean and transform large datasets from life sciences, production, laboratory or clinical environments
• Develop algorithms, analytical pipelines, and automated workflows
• Collaborate closely with R&D, IT, Engineering, QC, QA, and product development teams
• Create dashboards, visualizations and decision‑support tools for scientific and business stakeholders

• University degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related natural science field
• Hands‑on experience with Python, SQL, R, Tensor Flow, PyTorch, or similar machine‑learning frameworks
• Experience in a pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare or regulated environment is a strong advantage
• Strong analytical mindset, structured working style, and the ability to derive insights from complex datasets
