We’re looking for a highly skilled Senior Network Engineer who thrives at the intersection of physical infrastructure and logical networking. This role is for someone who doesn’t just rack and stack—but understands why every cable, port, and protocol matters. You’ll play a critical role in deploying, validating, and troubleshooting network infrastructure across Layers 1–3, ensuring that what’s built physically aligns perfectly with logical configurations.

Working on‑site in Basel Monday to Friday, 9 to 17:30. Please apply with a resume in English.

• Execute rack elevation diagrams and safely install high-density network equipment with proper power redundancy
• Ensure mechanical integrity of racks (rails, cage nuts, load distribution)
• Install, clean, inspect, and troubleshoot SMF/MMF fibre and high-speed transceivers
• Manage patch panels, cross-connects, and coordinate circuit extensions with telecom providers
• Configure and maintain out-of-band (OOB) access, including terminal servers and serial connectivity troubleshooting
• Perform L1–L3 networking tasks: cabling, VLANs, STP, IP validation, and routing protocol checks (BGP/OSPF)

• 6+ years of experience in Data Centres or large enterprise networks
• Proficient German/French and English (B2 - C1)
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, F5 hardware
• Fibre & Ethernet installation (SFP, PIC, NIM, DPC modules)
• CLI proficiency (Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Arista EOS, PAN-OS)
• Skilled with tools: VFL, light meters, fibre scopes
• Proven ability to handle mission‑critical incidents
• CCNA certification – mandatory
