As part of large-scale data transformation programs for our clients, we are looking for a Data Architect to design and structure enterprise data ecosystems across complex and hybrid environments.

This role is key to ensuring data consistency, scalability, and governance while enabling advanced analytics and data-driven decision-making.

• Define and maintain the enterprise data architecture strategy across SAP and non-SAP systems
• Design data models, integration flows, and storage solutions within hybrid environments
• Ensure alignment with business objectives, IT strategy, and regulatory constraints
• Define standards for data structures, data flows, and metadata management
• Design and optimize SAP data structures (S/4
  
  HANA, BW/4
  
  HANA, ECC…)
• Ensure seamless integration between SAP and non-SAP systems, data platforms, and analytics tools
• Support SAP data migration, harmonization, and master data management initiatives
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to align data models with business processes
• Design and implement modern data platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, cloud & on-premise)
• Define robust ETL/ELT processes and scalable data pipelines
• Enable integration with analytics, BI, and AI solutions
• Support modern architectures (APIs, streaming, SaaS integrations)

• Ensure compliance with data governance, data quality, and security standards
• Define naming conventions, metadata standards, and reusable components
• Collaborate with Data Stewards and Data Quality teams to ensure trusted data across the organization
• Act as a trusted advisor for business and IT stakeholders on data architecture and best practices
• Provide guidance on data strategy, technology choices, and architectural trade-offs
• Work closely with Data Engineers, BI Developers, and Data Scientists to align architecture with use cases
• Identify opportunities to improve scalability, performance, and efficiency of data platforms
• Stay up to date with emerging technologies (cloud, SAP innovations, real-time data)
• Contribute to enterprise data strategy and architecture governance

• Strong expertise in enterprise data architecture and data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical)
• Deep knowledge of SAP ecosystems (S/4
  
  HANA, BW/4
  
  HANA, ECC…)
• Solid experience with non-SAP data platforms (data lakes, data warehouses, cloud environments)
• Expertise in data integration patterns (ETL/ELT, APIs, orchestration tools)
• Strong understanding of master data management, metadata management, and data governance frameworks
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS or GCP)

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Engineering or equivalent
• 5–10 years of experience in data architecture, data modeling, or enterprise data management
• Proven experience in hybrid SAP / non-SAP environments
• Strong ability to design scalable, secure, and business-aligned data architectures
• Excellent analytical and strategic thinking
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Leadership mindset and ability to work across cross-functional teams
• Fluent in English (German is a plus)
• Position based in Switzerland

• Experience with SAP cloud solutions (S/4

• Knowledge of AI/ML integration and real-time data architectures
• Certifications in SAP, cloud platforms, or enterprise architecture frameworks
• Experience in regulated environments or large-scale industrial contexts
