Overview

Vacancy for our Basel based client in the Pharma sector.

• Design, build, and operate infrastructure to support Debian-based Linux distributions used in medical devices.
• Integrate and manage hardware, including selection, ordering, assembling and hardware‑in‑the‑loop testing.
• Develop and maintain high‑availability clusters and core infrastructure services such as build servers, CI runners, and artifact repositories.
• Create and manage declarative Infrastructure as Code solutions, monitoring, alerting and inventory management.
• Integrate cloud and on‑premises services, ensuring robust lifecycle management and disaster recovery procedures.
• Build and maintain pipelines (Git Hub) for continuous integration and deployment.

• 8+ years of professional experience in Software, Infrastructure, Site Reliability Engineering, Dev Ops or related fields.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Proven ability to build infrastructure platforms from the ground up, including user‑facing services and production environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure architecture, reliability, security and operational best practices.
• Language skills:
  English.
• Strong collaboration and communication with software engineers, solution architects and technical stakeholders.
• Ability to lead technical initiatives and drive infrastructure improvements.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the capacity to work independently in fast‑paced environments.
