ICT System Engineer (focus on Microsoft Server & M365/Exchange)

• Operation, maintenance and further development of our IT infrastructure (Microsoft server landscape, Active Directory and Azure VMs).
• Management and maintenance of the VMware platform and Microsoft 365 services.
• Support and maintenance of mail services (Exchange on Premise / Online) and Microsoft 365 services.
• Administration and maintenance of the VMware platform and the backup environment (Veeam).
• Analysing and rectifying faults and providing first-level support.
• Management of sub-projects and coordination of external service providers.
• Documentation of systems, processes and changes.
• Participation in on-call duty (approx. once a quarter) and occasional travelling within Europe.

• Completed training in the IT sector (e.g. computer scientist EFZ / IT specialist) as well as in-depth further training in the Microsoft area (MCSA, MCSD or MCSE).
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft servers, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware, Veeam.
• Practical know-how in the area of Power Shell scripting.
• An independent, responsible and service-orientated way of working with good planning skills.
• An uncomplicated team player who finds simple solutions and is willing to work outside normal working hours.
