• Operation, maintenance and further development of our IT infrastructure (Microsoft server environment, Active Directory and Azure VMs).
• Management and maintenance of the VMware platform and Microsoft 365 services.
• Support and maintenance of email services (Exchange on‑premises / Online) and Microsoft 365 services.
• Management and maintenance of the VMware platform and the backup environment (Veeam).
• Analysing and resolving faults, as well as providing first‑level support.
• Leading sub‑projects and coordinating external service providers.
• Documentation of systems, processes and changes.
• Participation in the on‑call rota (approximately once a quarter) and occasional travel within Europe.

• A completed qualification in the IT sector (e.g. Computer Scientist EFZ / IT Specialist) as well as in‑depth further training in Microsoft technologies (MCSA, MCSD or MCSE).
• In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft servers, Active Directory, Exchange, Microsoft 365, Azure, VMware and Veeam.
• Practical expertise in Power Shell scripting.
• An independent, responsible and service‑oriented approach to work, with good planning skills.
• An easy‑going team player who finds straightforward solutions and is willing to work on emergency call‑outs outside normal working hours.
