Senior Oracle Database Administrator

Our client, a renowned private bank with a strong international presence, is looking for an experienced Senior Oracle DBA to strengthen its global infrastructure team. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of mission‑critical database environments and contribute to strategic infrastructure and migration projects.

• Ensure the smooth operation and support of the global Oracle database environment
• Troubleshoot incidents and provide 2nd level support, including participation in an on‑call rotation
• Implement change requests (RFCs) in line with established procedures and best practices
• Analyze resource utilization and propose optimization and lifecycle management improvements
• Develop and implement automation solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate on infrastructure enhancements and support strategic migration initiatives
• Execute and validate recovery exercises and disaster recovery procedures

• University degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Minimum 7 years of hands‑on experience in database operations and engineering
• Strong expertise with Oracle Database and PostgreSQL
• Experience with Ansible automation is an advantage
• Proactive, hands‑on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to identify and leverage synergies
• High professional integrity and excellent problem‑solving skills
• Fluent in English
  ; German is considered a plus
