To strengthen our software delivery and support our growing product landscape, we are expanding our team in Allschwil, Switzerland.

We are seeking a strategic and hands‑on Release Manager to lead and evolve our end‑to‑end release management across AMOS, web, mobile and integrated solutions. You will coordinate and drive release activities across cross‑functional teams (R&D, Quality, Product, Operations and customer‑facing units), ensuring predictable, efficient and high‑quality deliveries.

Strategic Responsibilities
  • Define, maintain and communicate the release strategy and calendar for AMOS, web, mobile and integrated solutions.
  • Own and continuously improve release management processes, procedures, and governance, acting as the central point of contact for release‑related decisions and standards.
  • Align release practices with business objectives, customer commitments, operational requirements and quality standards.
  • Establish and maintain release governance, including versioning standards, release documentation, approval workflows and release readiness criteria.
  • Define policies for patching, hotfixes, rollback/down‑patching, emergency releases and end‑of‑life support.
  • Ensure release processes support scalability, quality & security standards and operational resilience.
Operational Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate and oversee software releases for AMOS, web, mobile and integrated solutions, including coordination and execution of release activities.
  • Support and contribute to recurring patch and maintenance release execution activities, in collaboration with Quality Control Team Leads and Development teams.
  • Ensure release artifacts and publication activities are completed, including release notes, deployment pipelines, app store submissions, and stakeholder communications.
  • Lead release weeks and major release events, ensuring alignment across key stakeholders including, but not limited to, Quality Management, R&D, Product Management, Support, Operations and customer‑facing teams.
  • Coordinate customer participation in validation programs, beta testing activities and release acceptance initiatives where applicable.
  • Act as the central point of contact for release‑related communication, escalation management, and decision‑making.
  • Maintain visibility of release status through dashboards, reporting and management metrics.
  • Manage release risks, dependencies, blockers, and mitigation plans throughout the release lifecycle.
  • Evaluate, prioritize and validate process improvement initiatives related to release management and software delivery.
  • Drive implementation of tooling and automation solutions for deployment, release tracking, ticketing system workflows, reporting, and compliance activities.
Skills
  • University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field / equivalent practical experience.
  • Proven experience in Release Management, Delivery Management, Project Management or a similar role within an enterprise software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development life cycles (Agile, Scrum, Kanban), software quality assurance, release governance, change management and risk management practices.
