The ideal candidate for this role will have strong hands‑on experience in administering, configuring, securing and optimising Microsoft 365 cloud workplace environments. The role requires solid expertise across Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, tenant governance, security configuration, compliance policies, migration support and operational troubleshooting.

Strategic Scope:
Engineers, administers, and monitors the global operational footprint, document lifecycle properties, and compliance policies governing Microsoft 365 cloud platform integrations and cross‑tenant collaboration environments.

Core Responsibilities
  • Platform Operational Management:
Provision, optimise, and maintain standard and custom M365 collaboration work spaces, governing underlying structures for Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and Exchange Online tenants.
  • Governance Framework Mapping:
Enforce data classification, preservation, retention policies, and tenant‑wide security boundaries to secure document life cycles against non‑compliant exposure.
  • Migration Blueprint Execution:
Draft, validate, and execute automated migration scripts to move structural records from local legacy storage targets into Microsoft 365 cloud instances.
  • Diagnostic Diagnostics Support:
Deliver senior‑tier engineering support, orchestrating log reviews and using native console diagnostic trees to analyse complex identity, file access, and messaging glitches.
  • Infrastructure Documentation:
Formulate, revise, and verify baseline operational guides, runbooks, security profiles, and configuration charts detailing tenant settings and automation flows.
Required Skills & Experience
  • Minimum of 3 to 5+ years of hands‑on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, collaboration platform management, or enterprise cloud workplace operations.
  • Strong experience provisioning, configuring, optimising and maintaining Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online and Exchange Online environments.
  • Good understanding of Microsoft 365 tenant administration, workspace governance, user access models, permissions, groups and collaboration structures.
  • Experience implementing and managing data classification, retention, preservation, compliance and document lifecycle policies within Microsoft 365.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft 365 security and governance controls, including tenant‑wide security boundaries, access control, sharing policies and compliance configuration.
  • Experience planning and executing migrations from legacy or on‑premise storage environments into Microsoft 365 cloud services, supported by Power Shell or Microsoft migration tooling.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience across identity, file access, collaboration and messaging issues using Microsoft 365 admin centres, audit logs and diagnostic tools.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a distributed project team.
