What you will do- Validate Readcall's calls against reference samples and established tools, across Sanger, PCR and NGS.
- Design the test sets, run them, and write validation reports a laboratory can use for its accreditation.
- Find where the software is wrong or unsure, and work with the engineers until it is right.
- Check every release before it reaches a laboratory.
- A degree in bioinformatics, genetics or molecular biology, and hands-on analysis of Sanger or NGS data.
- You have validated a method or pipeline in a laboratory, ideally under ISO 17025 or ISO 15189.
- Python or R for your own analysis.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- A call about a validation you ran and what it found.
- A walk through an analysis you did
