Logistics Operator – Laboratory Operations – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing

A global life sciences organisation is seeking a Logistics Operator – Laboratory Operations to support the daily operations of laboratories and office areas. This position is responsible for coordinating logistical activities, warehouse management, inventory control, and analytical/technical shipments to ensure smooth laboratory operations. In this role you will manage laboratory supplies and inventories, oversee warehouse and replenishment activities, coordinate pharmaceutical sample logistics according to internal procedures, and provide administrative support.

You will work closely with suppliers and assist with logistics and warehousing-related projects within a GMP-driven environment.

• Degree or Apprenticeship in Logistics
• At least 3 years of experience in Logistics
• Excellent planning and organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Good command of written and spoken English
• Basic knowledge of spoken German
• Good interpersonal skills
• Experience managing warehouse operations, including requisition and restocking of lab consumables and chemicals
• Experience with inventory management processes, including 6S and Kanban activities
• Experience coordinating analytical, pharmaceutical, or technical shipments according to internal procedures
• Ability to provide administrative and operational support within laboratory environments
• Experience working closely with suppliers and external stakeholders
• Ability to manage and support logistics and warehousing-related projects

• Experience supporting laboratory or pharmaceutical environments
• Familiarity with GMP-related logistics processes
• Ability to work independently and prioritise multiple operational tasks
• Strong attention to detail and organisational follow-through
• Experience working in cross‑functional operational teams
