Position Summary
Are you passionate about supply chain, process improvement, and digital transformation in a dynamic aviation environment? Join Jet Aviation in Basel as an intern and gain hands‑on experience supporting procurement and supply chain activities within a global business aviation company. In this role, you will contribute to key digitalization initiatives and gain hands‑on experience in contract lifecycle management, ERP systems, and supplier negotiations.

Your Role- Ensure contracts are current, complete, and accurately maintained in the digital contract tool and SAP ERP, supporting compliance, traceability, and reliable documentation.
- Upload, organize, and maintain missing documentation while supporting the transition from shared folders to SharePoint to improve collaboration and document control.
- Monitor contractual obligations such as annual fees and other agreed conditions, helping ensure timely follow‑up and operational transparency.
- Support sourcing activities by conducting market benchmarks, launching Requests for Quotation (RFQs), and analyzing supplier offers based on price, quality, and lead times.
- Assist with supplier negotiations and review of terms and conditions in collaboration with the responsible stakeholders.
- Support the design and implementation of KPIs by analyzing existing data, helping define meaningful performance indicators, and contributing to a framework that enables data‑driven decision‑making and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to process optimization and task automation initiatives using digital tools such as Excel macros and ServiceNOW.
- Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; matriculation during the entire internship period is required.
- First experience in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or a related area is preferred.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and a structured way of working.
- Quick learner with a proactive attitude and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Strong interest in digital tools, process optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with SAP and SharePoint is an advantage.
- Strong interest in developing and improving processes and procedures.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in English; knowledge of French and/or German is an asset.
