We are looking for a Senior Category Buyer (professional services) to join our client's team (pharmaceutical industry) as a consultant. This is a 7 months assignment (renewable).

As an experienced Strategic Buyer – Professional Services you will manage strategic sourcing activities and support procurement initiatives at site level. You will collaborate with global procurement teams and business stakeholders to deliver value, optimize supplier performance, and drive cost savings while ensuring business continuity..

• Lead sourcing activities, including RFx, supplier selection, negotiation, and contract management.
• Implement global category strategies at the local site level.
• Identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities.
• Build and manage strong supplier relationships and monitor supplier performance.
• Support risk assessment and business continuity initiatives.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand business needs and provide procurement expertise.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Support the deployment of procurement tools and systems (SAP, Ariba).

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5–10 years of experience in strategic procurement.
• Strong sourcing, negotiation, and contract management skills.
• Experience in supplier relationship management and category management.
• Analytical mindset with excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work in an international and cross-functional environment.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP, Ariba, and Microsoft Office.
• Fluent English is required.
• CIPS or equivalent procurement certification is an advantage.
