Today, Lonza is a global leader in life sciences operating across five continents. While we work in science, there’s no magic formula to how we do it. Our greatest scientific solution is talented people working together, devising ideas that help businesses to help people. In exchange, we let our people own their careers. Their ideas, big and small, genuinely improve the world.

And that’s the kind of work we want to be part of.

The Vice President, Supply Chain, Integrated Biologics is a senior leadership role responsible for the end-to-end Supply Chain organization across Lonza’s Integrated Biologics platform. • Lead network, capacity and inventory strategy, balancing customer service, supply resilience, working capital, cost and risk, while ensuring readiness for growth programs, new assets, technology transfers, launches and commercial ramp-ups.
  • Drive Supply Chain transformation through process standardization, digital enablement, automation, advanced planning capabilities, data transparency and robust performance management.
  • Partner closely with Operations, Quality, Commercial, Finance, Procurement, MSAT and other functions to manage risks, enable business priorities and ensure compliance with applicable GMP, GDP, Quality, EHS, regulatory and customer requirements.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive senior leadership experience across end-to-end Supply Chain within a complex global manufacturing environment, ideally in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical, biotechnology or CDMO operations.
  • Broad Supply Chain expertise spanning demand and supply planning, S&OP, production planning, inventory, logistics, warehousing and network planning, combined with a strong understanding of manufacturing operations.
  • Proven experience leading across multiple manufacturing sites and international networks, translating business strategy into execution and driving large-scale Supply Chain transformation and digitalization.
  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, with the ability to balance customer service, capacity, inventory, cost, working capital and operational risk.
  • Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a matrixed organization, combined with strong strategic thinking, executive communication, influencing and decision-making skills.
  • Business-fluent English is required.
