Jet Aviation Basel is seeking a Painter to work in the paint hangar at the airport in Basel. The role involves preparing aircraft surfaces, applying paint, and performing related finishing tasks to achieve a high-quality, like-new exterior finish on VIP aircraft.

• Embark on a journey into a world where the sky is not just a limit and bring color as well as life to the sleek exterior of VIP aircrafts.
• Prepare aircraft surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as required.
• Apply paint by using different techniques and colors, ensuring a perfect coverage and a smooth finish.
• Revitalize aircraft exteriors to perfection by expertly repairing paint damages and flawlessly matching colors for a like-new finish.
• Prepare stencils, lettering blocks and apply letters, decals as well as insignias to the aircraft.
• Mix and apply primers as well as topcoats as required.

• Proven experience as a painter, with a good understanding of different techniques and materials, preferably in the aviation, automotive, or railway industry.
• Sound knowledge of paint preparation, paint mixing as well as application processes.
• Skilled in paint repairs, color matching and polishing.
• Familiar with paint related products and manufacturers.
• Good physical condition.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail, committed to delivering high-quality work.
• Comprehensive English skills – any other language is a plus.
