Position SummaryJoin our Cabinet Shop at Jet Aviation and apply your advanced woodworking and veneering expertise to craft bespoke, lightweight furniture for luxury aircraft interiors. Our skilled team specializes in fine woodworking techniques, including hardwood moldings, inlays, and exotic veneer applications, producing intricate, high‑end designs that meet the exacting standards of our clients. In this role, you will work within a state‑of‑the‑art facility, utilizing 3D digital models to guide the precise reassembly of furniture after finishing processes, ensuring every detail reflects the highest level of customization and quality.
Your craftsmanship and attention to detail will be essential in delivering elegant, functional interior furnishings that perfectly align with engineering specifications and safety regulations.
Day shift work pattern: 5 days, Monday to Friday – 42.5 hours – 07:00 a.m. – 04:15 p.m.
Late shift pattern: 4 days, Monday to Thursday – 40 hours – 02:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
Your Mission- Assemble high‑quality interior components such as cabinets, galleys, vanities, toilets, bulkheads, tables, and divans.
- Execute basic and advanced assembly operations following engineering drawings, notes, and process specifications.
- Install hardware like drawer slides, hinges, and latches; apply materials such as laminates and veneers.
- Work in coordination with fellow technicians to ensure seamless production workflows.
- Communicate effectively to support project objectives and production targets.
- Contribute to a positive, solutions‑oriented team environment.
- Perform disassembly, modifications, and minor repairs in line with Jet Aviation’s procedures and aviation regulations.
- Ensure all components and parts are traceable, protected, and conform to JBSL processes.
- Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and follow all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Operate hand and power tools such as saws and routers safely and accurately.
- Maintain and control tools in good working condition, report defects promptly.
- Follow standard work practices including 5S, EH&S audits, and Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Prepare and dispatch parts for finishing or treatment processes.
- Under supervision, perform installation or modifications directly on the aircraft.
- Achieve targets and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.

- Cabinet Maker apprenticeship with appropriate educational qualifications or equivalent hands‑on experience, ideally in aviation or a high‑precision industry. Plus, having reached Cabinet Shop Technician Support level and partially Technician Level 1.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting 2D manufacturing drawings.
- Skilled in using measuring tools and performing basic mathematical calculations.
- Familiarity with aerospace materials, adhesives, and bonding techniques.
- Self‑motivated and driven; works well independently and within a team.
- Highly flexible, adaptable, and able to stay calm under pressure.
- Detail‑oriented and committed to meeting high quality standards.
- Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office), familiarity with Smar Team, Catia V5 (Viewer), and Fanuc programming language is a plus.
- English skills minimum B1, any other language is a plus.
