Your roleTo strengthen our manufacturing team for microwave filters and thermalisation elements (MFT), we are looking for a motivated and meticulous production technician. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, testing, and quality control of MFT components, ensuring that production runs smoothly, efficiently, and according to our high-quality standards.
Your main tasks- Assembly of electronic and mechanical components and assemblies according to work instructions, circuit diagrams, and technical drawings
- Manufacture of wire-wound components using winding, coating, and potting processes
- Perform intermediate and final inspections as well as quality controls to detect faults and ensure products meet specifications
- Analyse and repair faulty assemblies
- Accurately document production data, test results, and deviations
- Operate, monitor, and maintain the production and testing equipment used in MFT manufacturing (winding machines, test fixtures, and setups)
- Identify and suggest opportunities to optimise the reliability and efficiency of our production processes
- Completed technical or craft vocational training
- Solid knowledge of electronic assembly and soldering techniques
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling small components, including under a microscope
- Practical experience with hand tools and measuring instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes) is an advantage
- Ability to read, understand, and precisely follow technical drawings and work instructions
- Patience, sustained concentration, and care are required to consistently deliver high-quality and reproducible work
- Fluent English skills (ability to participate in internal meetings and read work instructions), German skills are an advantage
- Team player with good communication skills
