In this key role, you will drive the development, optimization, and industrialization of manufacturing processes for biologics, supporting activities from process development through GMP manufacturing.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Process Development, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and international production sites to ensure operational excellence and manufacturing readiness.

• Evaluate, optimize, and enhance manufacturing and operational processes to improve efficiency and compliance
• Lead technology transfer and scale-up activities into GMP manufacturing environments
• Ensure manufacturing readiness through effective process implementation and operational support
• Provide technical expertise and troubleshooting support during production campaigns and process-related challenges
• Develop and execute strategies to improve process performance, quality, and regulatory compliance
• Collaborate with cross-functional and international stakeholders to drive strategic initiatives and projects
• Support customer engagements, technical presentations, audits, inspections, and problem-solving activities

• Master’s degree or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Several years of experience within the biopharmaceutical industry (manufacturing, process development, technology transfer, or process validation)
• Strong technical expertise in biologics manufacturing processes
  , preferably within Downstream Processing (DSP)
• Solid understanding of GMP requirements and experience working in a highly regulated environment
• Proven ability to lead complex projects and influence stakeholders within matrix organizations
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work effectively across functions and sites
• Fluent in German and English
  , both written and spoken
• Willingness to travel to Germany (20% of the time) is required
