Join our team as a QC Specialist and play a key role in ensuring high-quality, compliant laboratory operations. In this position, you will apply your in-depth bioanalytical expertise to support the laboratory team in the efficient execution of analytical activities, investigations, and data review processes.
Working in a GxP-regulated environment, you will help ensure that laboratory activities are performed in line with GxP and HSE guidelines, while reviewing and approving analytical data to maintain accuracy, reliability, and compliance. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented scientific professional who enjoys combining hands-on technical knowledge with quality-focused decision-making.

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:
- Perform bioanalytical release and stability testing in compliance with cGxP and data integrity requirements.
- Prepare, evaluate, and report on project-related protocols, plans, trend analyses, and testing activities.
- Implement new product testing into the routine laboratory and support method development and validation activities.
- Manage analytical weak points, perform complex troubleshooting, and support continuous improvement of laboratory workflows.
- Review analytical data and tests, including analytical release activities, to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance.
- Handle OOx results and deviations, define CAPAs, and contribute to effective investigation processes.
- Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment, including preparation of maintenance and calibration plans.
- Act as SPoC or SME for bioanalytics initiatives and contribute to relevant documentation workflows and technical authoring.
- Support sample planning, sampling execution, supplier qualification, and KPI/KQI trending and analysis.
- Follow all HSE guidelines, proactively identify and report potential risks, propose solutions, and participate in required trainings.
- Technical education with3–5 years of relevant experience
, or a university degree in
Pharmacy, Chemistry, or equivalent
with0–4 years of working experience
. - Professional experience in the
pharmaceutical sector
, active substance manufacturing, or analytical laboratories within a
GMP environment
or equivalent. - Good understanding of
Quality Control testing, QC sampling, laboratory excellence
, and related GxP standards and processes. - Experience working with
laboratory equipment
and supporting analytical or quality-related laboratory activities. - Strong collaboration skills with the ability to communicate effectively across teams, departments, and functions.
- Result-oriented mindset with strong analytical thinking, resilience, and a focus on operational excellence.
- Commitment to continuous learning and the ability to adapt to digital tools, technologies, and evolving processes.
- Good knowledge of
MS Office
and standard IT applications supporting quality activities. - Sound quality decision-making skills and understanding of industry quality standards.
- Good written and spoken
English
skills and fluency in German (a plus).

Expected Annual Base Salary Range for role:CHF
