The Authentifield Innovation Scientist I is a highly specialized and technical role, reporting functionally and operationally to the Anti-Falsified Medicines, Director Pharm
INT & Forensics in Anti-Falsified Medicines CoE in Global Security.
The primary responsibility of this role is to assess new analytical chemistry technologies including near-infrared (NIR) spectroscopy. Authentifield Innovation Scientist I will focus primarily on the evaluation of the Labscanner Plus within the Authentifield framework. This role involves designing and running experiments, as well as analyzing data using Python. The Authentifield Innovation Scientist will collaborate closely with Pharm
INT associates and other stakeholders to develop, build, or continuously review the requirements for both Authentifield and Pharm
INT. All duties must be performed in strict adherence to high standards for technical excellence, environmental compliance, and health and safety regulations.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation:
Assess the performance and potential use of the Labscanner Plus and Authentifield technologies for liquid testing. Collaborate with stake-holders to implement Labscanner Plus and the Authentifield liquid application. - Experimental Design:
Develop and implement experimental protocols to test and validate the Labscanner Plus and Authentifield technologies related to liquid testing. - Data Analysis:
Analyze experimental data using Python to derive meaningful insights and conclusions. - Collaboration:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, quality, and regulatory affairs, to ensure comprehensive evaluation and integration of new technologies. - Documentation:
Prepare detailed reports and presentations on experimental findings and technology assessments. - Innovation:
Stay updated with the latest advancements in analytical chemistry and related fields to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Education:
Ph.D. or master’s degree in chemistry, Physics, Engineering, or related field. - Proven experience in analytical chemistry and data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis.
- Experience with experimental design and statistical analysis.
- Experience with system integration and project management.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to pharmaceutical supply chains is a plus.
- Familiarity with falsified medicines detection technologies and methodologies.
- Understanding of data privacy and security standards.
- Strong documentation skills, including creating detailed business requirement documents (BRDs) and functional specifications.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with liquid applications with Near Infrared spectroscopy is a plus.
