Responsibilities
  • Conduct experiments and apply standard laboratory practices under moderate guidance and supervision.
  • Document executed work in accordance with internal guidelines.
  • Support troubleshooting activities in collaboration with Subject Matter Expert.
  • Document batch results with a critical mind.
  • Write protocols and SOPs using available templates.
  • Drive simple initiatives related to job duties with limited guidance.
  • Support technology transfer activities as needed.
  • Follow all EHS procedures and laboratory safety standards, maintain a clean and safe workspace, and promptly report any unsafe conditions.
Qualifications
  • Cell Line Development (CLD) technical skills including gene synthesis, vector cloning, plasmid purification, sequencing, agarose gel electrophoresis.
  • Plasmid design software (vector mapping and annotation tools).
  • Transfection techniques and clone selection workflows; clonality assessment using FACSAria, FACSLyric, VIPS, Cell metric.
  • Expansion and cryopreservation of cell lines.
  • Experience with small‑scale bioreactor systems (e.g., Ambr
    15, Breez) and CHO cell suspension culture.
  • Other desirable technical skills: cell culture expansion in shake flasks, wave bags, benchtop bioreactors; use of single‑use bioreactors at laboratory and pilot scale; monitoring and control of critical culture parameters (pH, DO, temperature, agitation, feeding); routine sampling for cell growth and metabolic profiling; basic troubleshooting and maintenance of bioreactor and support systems.
