Your ResponsibilitiesAs a Research Associate – In Vivo Pharmacology (m/f/d), you will play a key role in the Oncology Drug Discovery team:
- Design, execute, and interpret in vivo pharmacology studies in rodent models within a high-paced drug discovery environment
- Apply advanced imaging technologies – including ultrasound, micro-CT, bioluminescence, and MRI – to assess tumour biology and evaluate the efficacy of novel therapeutic candidates
- Perform molecular and cellular biology assays such as qRT-PCR, immunoblotting, ELISA, cell culture, and stable/transient cell line generation
- Collaborate actively with cross-functional expert teams across the global Oncology Drug Discovery Research organisation
- Contribute to data analysis and interpretation using bioinformatics tools, supporting experimental design and scientific decision-making
- Academic background: MSc, BSc, or qualified Lab Technician (apprenticeship/vocational training) in Pharmacology, Cell Biology, or a related discipline (PhD candidates cannot be considered)
- Animal science certification: LTK Module 1 or equivalent qualification in laboratory animal science
- Solid expertise in cellular and molecular biology techniques (qRT-PCR, immunoblotting, cell culture, ELISA, cell line generation)
- Strong communicator in English with the ability to work autonomously within a global, interdisciplinary team
- Familiarity with bioinformatics tools for data analysis and experimental design is a plus
- Knowledge of cancer biology and signalling pathways is an advantage
- Self-motivated, collaborative team player with excellent organisational skills and a track record of delivering in a high-quality research environment
