Research at Felix Platter contributes to advancing the diagnosis and treatment of dementia, including Alzheimer’s disease. To further strengthen its clinical research activities, Felix Platter is looking for a committed scientific professional to independently coordinate clinical studies and play an active role in establishing and developing its Dementia Research Centre.

• Contribute actively to the establishment and strategic development of the Dementia Research Centre
• Independently plan and coordinate clinical research projects
• Provide scientific support in the design of new research projects and the preparation of grant applications
• Coordinate study start-up activities and support study initiation
• Prepare and maintain study documents and other study-related materials
• Coordinate project partners and organise meetings, training sessions, presentations and Data Safety Monitoring Boards
• Monitor project milestones, recruitment targets, timelines and budgets
• Advise and support researchers in the planning and conduct of national and international clinical studies
• Serve as the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries related to research projects
• Establish and maintain national and international research collaborations, including partnerships with the UK Dementia Research Institute

• A university degree in medicine, pharmacy or natural sciences, together with a completed doctorate (PhD or equivalent)
• Several years of professional experience in academic or industry-based clinical research
• A strong interest in dementia research
• Experience in clinical trial coordination or clinical research management
• Knowledge of the regulatory requirements governing clinical research; knowledge of ICH-GCP is an advantage
• Experience in project management
• An independent, structured and solution-oriented approach to work
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• A strong service-oriented mindset and enthusiasm for interdisciplinary collaboration
• Excellent written and spoken German and English
