Senior Lab Technician Analytical Services

The Senior Lab Technician in Analytical Services will be responsible for planning and executing analytical experiments, support or lead problem-solving efforts, and coaching junior members of the team.

The ideal candidate will have a high degree of proficiency in U(H)
PLC and ceSDS/cIEF methodology and applied other techniques for the characterization of  this role, you will execute fit-for-purpose analytical methods that support process development and be responsible for implementing GMP-ready methods and supporting their transfer to Quality Control.

• Responsible for the preparation and performance of analyses including data evaluation and reporting via result databases and LIMS
• Assist in the interpretation of results
• Support planning and reporting in the analytical focus area
• Support in transfer/handover of analytical methods to GMP Quality Control incl. validations
• Regular review/update/improvement of processes and SOPs
• Capable of working autonomously and self-disciplined to meet timelines.
• Drive simple initiatives (in relation to job duties) with limited guidance and supervision within his/her team/group.
• Follows EHS procedures and laboratory safety standards, maintains a clean and safe workspace, and promptly reports any unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses.

• Biological laboratory technician degree (preferred) or BSc in Biotechnology or related field
• Biotechnology or Pharma industry experience, ideally CDMO setting with a focus on process development and protein analytics (5+ years)
• Proficient in the use of U(H)
  PLC devices (Waters, Thermo) and applicable software (Empower, Chromeleon)
• Proficient in the use of ceSDS and cIEF incl. devices (Maurice) and applicable software (iCE Compass)
• Experience in using LIMS for method set up and reporting, ideally STARLIMS
• Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks
• Well-organized working attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to deal with changes and quickly adjust to new situations
• Collaborative team player
• Confident in the use of the English language (German is a plus)
