An exciting opportunity has arisen within a top Regional Law Firm for an Administrator who has a keen interest in Law.
The role will provide administrative support to the legal team and assist with the efficient management of legal documents, records, meetings, and departmental processes. This role is suitable for someone starting their career in legal administration and offers the opportunity to gain experience within a professional legal environment.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Support- Provide general administrative assistance to members of the legal team.
- Schedule meetings, manage diaries, and arrange meeting rooms.
- Prepare, format, and proofread documents, letters, and reports.
- Handle incoming correspondence and direct enquiries appropriately.
- Maintain accurate electronic and paper filing systems.
- Upload, organise, and maintain legal documents and records.
- Assist with document version control and archiving.
- Ensure information is stored securely and confidentially.
- Support the preparation of document packs and reports.
- Take notes and minutes during meetings when required.
- Monitor shared inboxes and distribute correspondence.
- Assist with invoice processing and basic administrative tracking.
- Support the onboarding of new team members.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information at all times.
- Follow company policies and legal procedures.
- Support compliance and records management activities.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Previous administration, customer service, office, or internship experience.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Interest in legal services or pursuing a legal career.
- Experience using databases or document management systems.
- GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Maths.
- Business Administration qualification or legal administration coursework.
