Description:
Business Operations Co-ordinator
Rate: £23.77 (Via PAYE Umbrella) increasing to £31.17 after 13 weeks, under AWR’s – Agency worker Regulations
Provide business operations, finance administration and departmental support to the Advanced Planning & Business team. The role supports the efficient delivery of business processes, budget administration, training coordination, reporting activities and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will work across a range of business activities, helping maintain departmental systems, processes and records while supporting project and operational requirements.
Skills Required:
* Support departmental budget administration and financial tracking activities.
* Assist with purchase orders, invoice processing, WBS administration and financial reporting. Coordinate training activities, records, bookings and learning compliance requirements. Maintain departmental SharePoint sites, trackers and business records.
* Support meeting coordination, action tracking and governance activities.
* Assist with reporting, presentations and management information.
* Support resource planning, project administration and business operations activities.
* Identify opportunities to improve processes and reduce administrative burden.
* Assist business operations to ensure continuity during absences and peak workload periods.
* Strong organisational and administrative skills.
* Excellent attention to detail.
* Strong Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams capability.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
* Good verbal and written communication skills.
* Proactive approach to problem solving.
* Comfortable working with financial and operational data
* Ability to build effective working relationships across multiple stakeholders.
Skills Preferred:
* Budget tracking and financial administration.
* Purchase order and invoice management.
* SharePoint and reporting tools.
* Manufacturing, engineering or programme office environments.
* Project Management
* Finance system order approvals, funds movements.
Education Required:
Educated to A-Level standard or equivalent experience.
Education Preferred:
Business, Finance, Accounting, Project Management or Engineering-related qualification. Working towards a professional business or finance qualification.

* This role provides flexible business support across a wide range of operational, financial and administrative activities. The position offers exposure to manufacturing planning, business operations, programme delivery, finance administration and continuous improvement activities within a fast-paced engineering organisation.
Location Hybrid, up to 5 days in the office depending on collaboration requirements, min 4 days onsite per week.
