Are you a motivated and commercially minded Quantity Surveyor looking to join a dynamic construction team delivering high-quality residential projects across London & Essex? We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to play a key role in our client’s continued growth on new build residential schemes.

Role Overview
As a Quantity Surveyor reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial support on new build residential projects across London. You will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle, from pre-contract procurement through to final account settlement.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare cost plans, estimates, and tender documentation for new build residential projects.
* Carry out thorough cost analysis and value engineering to support budget control.
* Manage subcontractor procurement, evaluation, and negotiation.
* Assist in commercial reporting, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
* Maintain accurate contract records and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
* Support the resolution of contractual issues and facilitate claims preparation.
* Work collaboratively with project teams to drive commercial performance and best outcomes.
Ideal Candidate
* Degree qualified or equivalent in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related discipline.
* RICS/CIOB or working towards professional membership.
* Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on new build residential projects in London.
* Strong commercial acumen with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficient in digital measurement and cost management systems.
* Effective communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build strong relationships.
