Quantity Surveyor - Water Infrastructure About the Role An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading infrastructure and utilities contractor working on a major water framework in the UK.

This role offers the chance to work on long term water infrastructure projects, supporting the commercial management of live contracts while collaborating closely with operational, project and client teams. The business delivers essential infrastructure services across the utilities sector and offers clear progression opportunities into Senior Quantity Surveyor positions. Responsibilities Support the commercial management of water and utility infrastructure contracts. Prepare cost reports, forecasts and financial performance analysis.

Manage subcontractor accounts, valuations and commercial matters. Assist with applications for payment and client reporting. Identify cost-saving opportunities and support margin improvement. Work alongside operational teams to maintain strong commercial control across projects. Support NEC contract administration and ensure contractual compliance. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and commercial best practice. Requirements Minimum 3 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within utilities, infrastructure, civil engineering, water or a similar sector.

Good understanding of NEC contracts. Strong Excel, cost reporting and forecasting skills. Experience managing subcontractors and commercial administration. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Self-motivated, proactive and able to work independently. Strong organisational and time management abilities. Package Competitive salary.
