About the Role:

As a Teaching Assistant / Sports Coach, you will work closely with teachers and students across various schools in Billericay, providing support both academically and through sports-based activities.

Your role will be to encourage student engagement, promote physical well-being, and help create a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Supporting the classroom teacher with lesson delivery and student supervision
Assisting students with their learning, particularly in PE and sports-related activities
Organizing and coaching sports sessions and extracurricular activities
Encouraging teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence among students
Monitoring student progress and providing feedback to teachers
Promoting a safe and inclusive environment for all students

What We’re Looking For:

Previous experience working with children or young people (preferred)
A passion for sports and physical education
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Reliable, proactive, and enthusiastic attitude
Ability to adapt to different school environments and age groups
Relevant sports coaching qualifications or experience are desirable
