KS2 Behaviour Support Mentor – Basildon, Essex
Are you passionate about mental health and the behaviour of young students? Are you a recent graduate looking for hands‑on experience, or an experienced LSA/TA who wants to work with children who have SEN or SEMH? Join a supportive team that encourages teamwork and works to make a positive impact on student learning.
This role is due to start as soon as possible (ASAP / January 2026 start).
Salary and contract: £88‑100 per day (paid weekly), long‑term contract with the view of becoming permanent.
Benefits: Ample training and support, good Ofsted rating.
Responsibilities- Support children who struggle with Social, Emotional, Mental Health and Special Education Needs across KS2.
- Work with children who suffer from mild‑to‑extreme anxiety, depression, ODD, etc.
- Develop personal relationships with each student to better understand and support them.
- Receive training and continuous support to enhance effectiveness with these children.
- UK school experience or a child‑related qualification.
- Genuine passion for helping struggling children achieve academic and emotional success.
- Patience, kindness, dedication and commitment to making a positive impact.
