We are actively recruiting for a partner school in Basildon that is seeking dedicated Learning Support Assistants to join their team in January 2026
.

This is a fantastic opportunity to earn a competitive daily rate while working in a school that values stability, consistency, and staff progression.

Joining a supportive department, you will be working with students who require additional support to access the curriculum.

• 1:1 & Group Support: assisting students with SEN (Special Educational Needs) or behavioural difficulties within the classroom.
• Engagement: finding creative ways to keep students focused, motivated, and on-task.
• Interventions: delivering targeted support sessions in literacy, numeracy, or social skills.
• Behaviour Support: modelling positive behaviour and de‑escalating low‑level disruption to maintain a calm learning environment.

To secure the higher end of the pay bracket (£110/day), we are looking for:

• Experience: Proven track record working as an LSA, TA, or Support Worker, specifically with SEN or challenging behaviour.
• Proactivity: Someone who doesn't wait to be asked – see a student struggling and you step in.
• Resilience: The ability to remain calm and patient in a busy school setting.
• Compliance: An enhanced DBS on the update service (or happy to apply for one immediately).

• Competitive Pay: £90 - £110 per day – excellent rates for the Basildon area.
