We require a one to one learning assistant who is reliable, competent and caring to provide one to one support for a child/ren with complex additional needs in Key Stage One/ Key stage Two. (See Job Description)
The position is for a part time candidate, with recent successful experience of working with children with Autism, Behaviour, Medical and Personal needs.
It is initially for a fixed term until July 2026.
The successful candidate will need to:
- support a pupil or pupils on an individual basis in the school setting,
- be adaptable, well organised and an effective team player,
- where necessary work with groups of children,
- have good English and Maths skills to GCSE or equivalent level, and possible relevant LA and/or EYFS training qualifications,
- have good communication skills, patience and motivation to encourage pupils to achieve their best,
- Undertake additional training to support medical and personal needs.
